Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns, texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?

Yes.

How?

I looked carefully at pictures of the cushion star in books. I drew the circle and put lines and dots in it.

Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your batik?

Yes because you had to put wax on it and you might burn yourself, then you had to paint dye on it and we got rained on so someone had to wash the cloth so we tried again.
